DAYTONA BEACH, FL (April 7, 2011) - Improve your Spanish pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary with a seven-week Intermediate Conversational Spanish course offered by the Center for Community and Professional Education at Daytona State College.
Classes meet from 6 to 8 p.m. on consecutive Wednesdays beginning April 27 and continue through June 8, on the Daytona Beach Campus, Bergengren Building (#110), Rm. 249, located at 1200 West International Speedway Boulevard.
Focusing on essential vocabulary with opportunities to practice conversational Spanish for professional use or private enjoyment, this course will teach you how to build sentences, ask and answer questions and truly communicate in Spanish. Curriculum is a continuation of our popular Beginning Conversational Spanish course. This is an excellent course for those who want to brush-up on communication skills. The text book Spanish in 10 Minutes a Day, by Kristine K. Kershul should be purchased prior to the first class.
Lourdes Colon is the instructor for this course. Colon teaches at Flagler Palm Coast High School and also is an adjunct instructor at Daytona State College.
Advance registration and pre-payment required. The fee for this course is $115. Teachers will have the option to receive CEU’s, in-service professional development points and or complete sessions as IPDP professional development study.
