DAYTONA BEACH, FL (July 15, 2011) – As the designated public television station for emergency information in Volusia County, WDSC-TV will be airing Emergency Preparedness 2011, Wednesday, July 20, from 8 to 9:30 p.m., followed by Hurricane Survival Tips for the Homeowner.
Stocking your cupboards and buying batteries aren't the only ways to plan for emergencies. The 90-minute live call-in show, hosted by WESH-TV Reporter Claire Metz, will guide viewers in the steps they need to take to prepare for emergency situations such as severe weather, natural and other disasters, as well as developing a survival plan.
