Welcome to the Faculty Senate at Daytona State College,

The Faculty Senate at Daytona State provides governance for the more than 300 faculty spread over our many campuses throughout the Volusia and Flagler Counties. Monthly meetings are held at the Daytona Campus to discuss all faculty related issues within the college. All faculty members are encouraged to attend and provide input whenever possible. A schedule of all meetings for the 2011-2012 year is posted on this site.

This site provides many resources pertaining to the Faculty Senate. The Bylaws for policies and procedures within the Faculty Senate are posted and may be accessed at any time. A wealth of other information such as Faculty Senate Award winners, committee membership, minutes from previous meetings and a list of current officers can be found here as well.

If you are a new faculty member you are encouraged to attend meetings and become involved as soon as you are able.
